CUDAHY, WI
Patrick Cudahy is bringing a hotbed of bacon-filled activities to Wisconsin this Summer with its new “Say Hey to Summer” campaign. During July and August, the company is bringing its “Patrick Cudahy, Free Bacon Sweepstakes,” the third-annual “Patrick Cudahy Race for the Bacon,” and “Patrick Cudahy Bacon Lover’s Day” to the Wisconsin State Fair, according to a press release.
“Patrick Cudahy has a lot in store for our consumers this summer,” said Bud Matthews, Senior Vice President, Patrick Cudahy, LLC. “We love summer time and have plenty of events and activities for families to celebrate the season with us. There will be no shortage of fun for bacon lovers. Everything we do, it’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to everyone who supports us. We appreciate their patronage and we want to make every effort to make it their best summer yet.”
Beginning July 4, Patrick Cudahy will be giving away a year’s supply (52 coupons) of free sweet apple-wood smoked bacon. The sweepstakes will be hosted on the company’s Facebook page and will reward one consumer per week for eight weeks.
On July 31, the company will return as a primary sponsor of the “Race for the Bacon” in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The first 125 finishers will receive a package of Patrick Cudahy fully-cooked bacon as an extra incentive to cross the finish line.
Additionally, Patrick Cudahy will continue its sponsorship of “Bacon Lover’s Day” at the Wisconsin State Fair with free photo opportunities and live on-stage performances by Chef Brian Moran and the Sweet Apple-Wood Quartet. Visitors will receive recipe cards, product samples, and a chance to spin the Patrick Cudahy prize wheel.
