The awards keep rolling in for Rising Sun Farms with the announcement that the cheese producer has taken home a gold medal at the American Cheese Society Awards for its Cranberry Orange Cheese Torta.
At this year's ACS Convention and Expo in Sacramento I was lucky enough to try the Torta. With a delightfully light citrus flavor and rich creaminess, it was one of my absolute favorites.
That this honor comes just months after Rising Sun Farms' took home a 3rd place finish for the Torta at the World Championship Cheese Contest, just sweetens the deal for Rising Sun Farms.
