Saputo Specialty's Stella® brand of Italian-style cheeses already had a website, but it was not yet an award-winning website. Until now.
Graphic Design USA Magazine has presented the company’s Stella® site with a 2015 American Web Design Award, which was just launch in January of this year and recently refreshed.
According to a press release, the Stella® brand website can sense where the user is browsing from and adjust its layout accordingly, has improved sorting functions in the “Our Cheeses” and “Recipes” tabs so that those visiting can search by cheese type, flavor, or access the brand’s most popular items quickly.
Two new features providing resources to cheese lovers are a cheese “calculator,” which provides a guide on the amounts of cheese served, as well as providing a Cheese 101 section and FAQs pages, all of which are easy to share on popular sites like Instagram and Facebook.

The magazine’s annual competition, according to the release, celebrates the work of the country’s distinguished graphic designers, recognizing sites for package design, innovative packaging, and web design in the food and beverage industries.
