Sartori Cheese is celebrating 75 years of producing artisan and premium cheese for specialty, retail, ingredient, restaurant and food service markets. In celebration of their anniversary, the company and its team members are planning to make multiple contributions and to volunteer at local food shelters throughout Wisconsin, in addition to continued partnerships with Wisconsin Make-A-Wish Foundation® and MACC Fund, according to a press release.
"This year we will continue our focus on giving back. The people in these communities have given us so much throughout the years and as an organization we are in a position to continue to help those in need," said Jeff Schwager, Sartori President.
Founded in 1939 by an Italian immigrant named Paolo Sartori, the company is now in its fourth generation of family ownership and operation. After more than seven decades, Sartori has an impressive array of award-winning cheeses, and the company is known for their innovative approaches and consistent top quality.
"Our cheese making process is still very hands-on today. We use a lot of the same techniques we've used since day one," states Jim Sartori, CEO. "I believe that's one way we set ourselves apart from others. We take time to perfect our cheese, whether it's curing the cheese to the right age or hand-rubbing each treated wheel; we know the love and care we put into making our cheese resonates with those sharing it around the dinner tables."
Congratulations to Sartori Cheese for 75 years of delicious cheese making!
