GREEN BAY, WI
Sartori Cheese has announced the 4th year of its partnership with Mason Crosby, kicker for the Green Pay Packers, and the Packers Radio Network to support the Wisconsin Make-A-Wish foundation during the 2014 NFL season. For every field goal Crosby makes this season, including both the pre- and postseason, Sartori will donate $1,000 to Make-A-Wish.
"We are excited to start this partnership again for the 2014 season. Both Mason and the Packers Radio Network have been great to work with. It's important for those who are fortunate enough to give back, to do so. We have close ties with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and support what they do for children with life-threatening medical conditions. We're able to help a child's dream come true and that is bigger than any of us," stated Sartori CEO and owner, Jim Sartori.
According to a press release, over the course of this partnership, Sartori has donated over $60,000. It donated $42,000 during last year's NFL season alone, thanks to a monster season from Crosby in which he completed 39 field goals in the pre- and regular season. He also converted 2 field goal attempts in the post season, feats for which Sartori donated $1,500 each.
Sartori Cheese will be keeping Packer fans updated on its contribution amounts through weekly updates to its Facebook and Twitter accounts. They will also be hosting giveaway deals and special offers throughout the 2014 season in order to further engage customers.
I might not be a Packer's fan, but I know that I'll definitely be rooting for another standout season from Mason Crosby this year. What a great cause!
