LOS ANGELES, CA
SeaSnax® has developed a new line of seaweed chips called Chomperz™ to provide a healthier alternative to potato chips.
Chomperz seaweed chips are made from sustainably-harvested seaweed, rice and natural seasonings and spices, according to a press release. Chomperz™ are non-GMO Project Verified and don’t contain MSG, cholesterol, trans-fats, hydrogenated oils, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
“With our next generation of seaweed chips, Chomperz offers consumers a tasty and satisfying alternative to the junk food that’s been filling store shelves and fueling a health epidemic for decades,” said Jin Jun, the company’s Founder and Chief Eating Officer.
SeaSnax says in a release that with Americans consuming a third of their daily calories from snacks, the company is taking a stand against junk food.
“We make SeaSnax as if our own kids eat them, because they do,” said Jun. “It’s not just a motto, it’s the truth. It’s our responsibility to provide healthy snacks to our customers and their families. We embrace this mission with great passion and integrity in everything we do.”
Chomperz™ are available in 1 ounce bags and contain 40 calories per serving. SeaSnax will be at Expo East at booth #326.
