A Tavola Together's Newly Expanded Gluten-Free Line

A Tavola Together is expanding its gluten-free line to include focaccia bread, pizza dough, and flour tortillas.

A Tavola Together, which means 'at the table together,' is a company inspired by its Founder, Rima Barkett. Barkett, who began baking her own gluten-free alternatives at home for herself due to dietary restrictions, soon realized hers were better than what else was on the market.

"It's what people are looking for more than a traditional line. Even if they aren't celiacs, many people are looking at the health benefits from eating less gluten," Rima Barkett, Co-Founder and CEO of A Tavola Together told DeliMarket TV.

Gluten-free options are currently trending well with consumers.

"We now have one of the only gluten-free flour tortilla mixes on the market," Barkett added.

Her traditional Italian recipes are now available as packaged baking mixes. The mixes require only the addition of club soda to be ready to bake. The company supplies its gluten-free focaccia, pizza dough, and flour tortilla, as well as a non-gluten-free focaccia, to both retailers and food service providers.
