Three Twins Ice Cream, the makers of the Bay Area's favorite organic ice cream treats, has announced the commencement of its first bulk ice cream and novelty product program with foodservice operators nationwide, such as restaurants, universities, hospitals, corporations, and much more.
“With our expanded foodservice offerings, we aim to bring our inconceivably organic ice cream at an approachable price point to more people across the country,” said Founding Twin, Neal Gottlieb.
According to a press release, Three Twins Ice Cream will be available in 22 flavors for 5-liter pans, 22 flavors for 2.5-gallon tubs, 6 flavors for 5-ounce cups, and 3 flavors for its 5-ounce sandwiches. All of Three Twins' new 2014 flavors, including Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Brownie Batter Chunk and Land of Milk and Honey, will be included in this new bulk program, alongside classic staples like Sea Salted Caramel, Madagascar Vanilla and Cookies & Cream.
Neal founded Three Twins Ice Cream in 2005 in San Rafael, CA. Back then he was its only employee, working 90 hour workweeks to grow his business. Today, it is a Bay Area staple with 5 scoop shops in the San Francisco area, a hundred employees, and a nationwide distribution chain with over 3,000 major grocers, natural food and specialty shops, convenience stores, and corner markets.
Having bought and tasted its ice cream myself at Whole Foods Market, I can definitely say that Three Twins Ice Cream is a company to keep on your radar.
Congratulations on the new program, Three Twins!
