Much like when you first heard about S’Mores and prompted, “Some more of what?” inevitably leading to a circular conversation of trying to explain both sides, Tillamook County Creamery Association will be prompting cheese lovers and consumers with its newest line of Really Thin Slices.
Before you ask, the answer is everything. Really Thin Slices of everything the company has seen succeed in industry sales.
“We always strive to provide solutions to our customers’ needs and are pleased to now offer a product for cheese lovers who are looking for another portion size option,” Joe Prewett, Tillamook Director of Product Management and Innovation, said in a press release. “We’re excited to deliver the taste, texture and quality of Tillamook Cheese in this more convenient cut.”
Tillamook’s Really Thin Slices are available in Medium Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, Pepper Jack and Swiss, with 45 calories per slice. The company also entreats growth and eco-savvy customers with milk from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones, as well as all natural ingredients. The product is currently available for national distribution in a shingle pack, and will also be found at major retailers in the West this spring.
The company has also announced that it is replacing its Provolone slices with its new naturally Smoked Provolone. This new item can be found in 8 ounce and 2 pound Deli packs, as well as 12 ounce Thick Slice packs in cheese cases at major retailers across the West.
