Valley Fine Foods Goes 100 Percent Solar

Yuba City, CA
Valley Fine Foods has partnered with Solar energy to convert the natural food provider’s Yuba City, California facility to 100 percent renewable energy.

“It was an honor to partner with Valley Fine Foods,” says Ted Walsh, Stellar Energy Vice President of Project Development. “Their commitment to quality is inspiring; producing their delicious raviolis with all-natural ingredients, even offering organic and gluten-free lines that come in renewable corn-based plastic packaging, and now entirely made using renewable power.”

Valley Fine Foods, a producer of hand crafted gourmet pastas and food products, prides itself on creating 100 percent natural and convenient foods for the consumer.

Ryan Tu, Valley Fine Foods President, says, “We are a family-owned business, passionate about food and the environment. We entrusted Stellar Energy to help us achieve our goal having all facilities and operations 100 percent powered by renewable energy.”

The recently completed installation of a state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic system will create enough energy to power 148 average U.S. homes.
