ViskoTeepak is featuring its latest innovation in casing for the production of semi-dry and dry sausages. The ViskoTeepak Fibrous Xtreme has been developed to meet the most extreme demands of meat processors with the goal of optimizing the balance and relation between casing adhesion and peeling, according to a press release.
Perfect for in-house slicing applications, the Xtreme makes it possible to stuff at the highest speeds thanks to the strength of the casing. And because it’s designed to cope with hard stuffing and high speed peeling, it is now possible to push the limits of production to reach consistently high yields.
The multilayer fibrous structure of the Xtreme also allows for the injection of peel aid into the outer layer. This injection has a moisture retention function, which gives sausage makers the option to dry out sausages faster without the case hardening.
