Hormel Foods Corporation is promoting Jeffrey M. Tobak, Foodservice Area Manager of the Chicago, Illinois sales office, to President of Dan’s Prize.
Mark A. Coffey, Vice President of Affiliated Business Units, Refrigerated Foods, took a moment to applaud Tobak on his advancement.
“Congratulations to Jeffrey on his advancement and we look forward to his leadership with the Dan’s Prize business,” said Coffey.
Tobak replaces Mark E. Morey, who was recently named President of Farmer John in Vernon, California, according to a press release.
Tobak, a 12 year Hormel Foods veteran, got his start at the company as a Foodservice Sales Representative at the Pittsburgh, Pennsyslvania sales office. In 2002, he became a territory manager in Charleston, West Virginia, and then assumed the same position in Pittsburgh. In 2005, he became the Foodservice Chain Accounts Marketing Manager at the Corporate Office in Austin, Minnesota. In 2007, he became a Foodservice Area Manager at the San Francisco, California sales office. Three years later, he took up the same position in Memphis, Tennessee. He assumed his current role in 2013.
Dan’s Prize and Farmer John are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Hormel Foods.
