Litehouse Foods Welcomes Robert Tyrrell as Vice President, Manufacturing

It is full speed ahead for Litehouse Foods after the company brought on Robert (Rob) Tyrrell to fill the role of Vice President, Manufacturing. The position entails oversight of operations for five food manufacturing facilities, which are stationed in multiple states.

Rob’s vision and expertise will help ensure Litehouse capitalizes on our investments and opportunities.” 

Litehouse Foods Product Lines

This role will support the 100 percent employee-owned company’s fast-paced growth in the dressings, dips, sauces, cheese, and herb categories. Litehouse has invested over $30 million on faciltiies, equipment, and innovations to meet the demands of its consumers, which consequently led to it almost doubling in manufacturing operations size. Tyrrell’s position with the company will ensure its expansion and operational efficiencies continue to sail smoothly.

Recommending him for the position are qualifications such as his Microbiology degree from University of Texas Arlington and his 25 years of industry experience. His food industry expertise is extensive and spans the likes of manufacturing, food safety, supply chain management, co-packing, and packaging innovation. Previously, The Hain Celestial Group gave him invaluable experience holding key manufacturing and operation positions.

While Tyrrell will make manufacturing for the popular refrigerated salad dressing brand more efficient, the whole Tyrrell family is reported to be excited for its relocation from Texas to the Idaho, where it is looking forward to becoming active community members.
