Land O'Lakes has added to its current line of dairy products with the launch of its new LAND O LAKES® European Style Butter, featuring a higher fat content and extra-creamy texture.

Because it is made with sweet cream, LAND O LAKES® European Style Butter fills a consumer need on the dairy shelves."
LAND O LAKES® European Style Butter is what the company refers to as a super premium butter made with sweet cream. The higher fat content (at 82 percent, as opposed to 80 percent), gives the butter a rich, indulgent flavor, making it ideal for what Land O’Lakes says are, “special moments.”
According to a press release, U.S. butter consumption has been steadily on the rise, due to Americans looking to traditional or wholesome foods for flavor. While European style butters comprise about 1 percent of the entire market volume, Land O’Lakes expects sales to rise quickly, and the category to grow.
LAND O LAKES® European Style Butter comes in both salted or unsalted varieties, in half-pound boxes, with two convenient 4-ounce sticks, each individually wrapped in a FlavorProtect® Wrapper, per box. Consumers can find this butter at select retailers including Wal-Mart, Kroger, Safeway, and Super Target.
