Columbus Craft Meats Debuts New Product Line

After announcing that the company intends to convert all of its meat products to be free of antibiotics through 2017, Columbus Craft Meats has announced a new line of meat and artisan salame products. 

Columbus’ line of new, antibiotic-free and no nitrate crafted meats are available from the following selections, according to a recent press release:

  • Peppered Turkey
  • Herb Turkey
  • Reduced Sodium Turkey Breast
  • Rotisserie Chicken Breast
  • Roast Beef
  • Honey Turkey Breast
  • Applewood Smoked Ham
  • Black Forest Ham

Following along in this vein is the following flavor varieties of the company’s antibiotic-free, sliced artisan salame:

  • Finocchiona
  • Hot Sopressata
  • Crespone
  • Porcini Mushroom

For those of you still experiencing the deli wonders of IDDBA in Houston today, stop by Columbus’ booth #2433 to sample the lines yourself. The company will also be showcasing a charcuterie-to-go program to highlight how delis can increase sales, shorten lines, and drive repeat business. 

Other new, delicatessen-focused products from Columbus Craft Meats are a line of paninos – sliced mozzarella cheeses wrapped in genoa salame, prosciutto, and hot sopressata salame. The company also announced a new four-piece charcuterie sampler featuring the following:

  • Italian Dry
  • Calabrese
  • Sopressata
