The Honey Baked Ham Company Launches Refreshed Branding

Wednesday, September 5th, 2018

It’s the dawning of a new era for The Honey Baked Ham Company, who is looking to entice more consumers with its iconic World’s Best Ham™. After six decades, the company announced it is refreshing its look with a new brand identity, logo, and menu innovations.

JoAnn Herold, Chief Marketing Officer, Honey Baked Ham Company“Our new look is fun and contemporary, but it still pays tribute to our brand’s history,” said JoAnn Herold, Chief Marketing Officer. “It includes a refreshed color palette and a feel of craftsmanship and authenticity that will appeal to our loyal customers and engage a younger generation.”

An homage to its heritage, the new branding includes the familiar burgundy color of the old logo, while also introducing a new color: warm orange. The new logo will replace the old across The Honey Baked Ham Company’s channels, including its website, advertising, merchandising, packaging, uniforms, and more. The rebrand also includes more sustainable packaging that is certified by the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), according to a press release.

And we all know a new look is incomplete without a few new offerings. The Honey Baked Ham Company is launching new heat-and-serve side offerings, a new catering menu, and is developing new recipes for some of the company’s already well-known side dishes, including the following:

  • Loaded Smashed Potatoes
  • Tuscan-Style Broccoli
  • Cheesy Potatoes Au Gratin
  • Creamy Russet Mashed Potatoes
  • Maple Sweet Potato Soufflé
  • Roasted Turkey Gravy
  • Green Bean Casserole
  • Country Cornbread Stuffing
  • Double Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese
  • Cinnamon Apples

Entering a new era, the iconic company unveils a new look and brand identity to engage more consumers

"It is a very exciting time for the brand. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers as the exclusive provider of the signature spiral sliced Honey Baked Ham® while also providing them with new menu offerings in the coming months," said Herold. "Our brand has an incredible heritage and, over the years, has provided special traditions for families across the country. We are proud to remain a trusted, cornerstone brand, while also designing a new look and expanded menu for our growing base of customers."
