With more than 18 years of industry experience, U.S. Army Veteran and former Kraft-Heinz food executive Thomas Lopez will lead Plumrose USA into the future as President of the company—with aims toward growth, development, and strategy.
“It is an honor to join the JBS USA team and serve alongside some of the most respected leaders in food and agriculture,” Lopez said in a recent press release. “Over the last decade, JBS USA has successfully led the turnaround and integration of iconic food brands and companies such as Swift®, Pilgrim’s®, Moyer®, and Packerland®. I look forward to contributing to the Plumrose USA team as we position the business for brand expansion and innovation to meet the evolving needs of today’s consumer.”
According to the company's press release, Lopez rose quickly in previous career with Kraft Foods and the Kraft-Heinz Food Company, impressing those around him with his tenacity and leadership skills. Lopez worked as Associate Brand Manager, Senior Marketing Director, Vice President of Marketing Refrigerated Meats, Vice President of U.S. Growth Channels, President of Meals and Desserts, and most recently, President of Beverage and Snacks with Kraft.
