Les Trois Petits Cochons has launched four new artisanal products: Pâté Basque, Mousse Basque, Truffée Mousse, and Caperberries, all of which would make a smashing addition to any charcuterie board.
David Kemp, CEO of Les Trois Petits Cochons, spoke to the brands success and innovation, "Les Trois Petits Cochons has been a leader in artisanal pâtés and charcuterie since launching in New York in 1975, and continues to pioneer the category by listening to customer feedback and industry trends, then utilizing that insight to create products that appeal to a modern consumer while maintaining the brand's standard of excellence and authenticity."
It is this drive towards creation that has pushed the brand to expand outward with its new line. Kemp continued, "This is what inspired the creation of Les Trois Petits Cochons' newest launch of products, the Organic Line, which will be expanded to include Organic Caperberries, Organic Pȃté Basque, Organic Mousse Basque, and Organic Mousse Truffée. In the new year, we are continuing to thoughtfully innovate to meet the demand of our loyal fans or help open the doors to this growing category for new customers."
The two Basques, the Organic Pâté Basque and Organic Mousse Basque, feature AOC-protected Espelette Peppers, which are grown in France's Southwest region. The Espelette Pepper is fresh and fruity with only a hint of spice, making it more approachable than the average pepper, and the Basques themselves are all-natural, gluten free, and nitrite/nitrate free.
Les Trois Petits Cochons have also updated their classic Truffée Mousse to meet certified organic standards. The Mousse features chicken liver, truffles, sherry, and Pineau des Charentes. Oh my! Les Trois Petits Cochons will expand their dry goods offerings with new Organic Caperberries, pickled in traditional style; they couple well with savory cocktails or as charcuterie garnish. The Basques, Mousse, and Caperberries have SRPs of $6.99, $6.99, and $5.99 respectively.
