MeatCrafters Inc., a Maryland producer of traditionally cured charcuterie, launched its newest product line-Skinny Salamis™. The high protein, low calorie, take-anywhere snack comes with no sugar, no carbohydrates, and is shelf-stable as it is cured and not cooked.
MeatCrafters' “out of the box” new world flavors for Skinny Salamis come in three varieties: Original Black Angus Beef, Truffle (pork), and Street Cart Sharma (lamb). The Skinny Salamis are made in small batches with meat free from antibiotics, gluten, and hormones. According to a press release, this includes heritage breed Duroc Pork, Black Angus Beef, and all natural lamb. Three additional flavors will be available later this year: Merguez (lamb), Spicy Chorizo (pork), and Casbah (pork).
Each grab-and-go snack package contains four Skinny Salamis. Designed to easily fit into backpacks, lunch boxes, gym bags, a pocket, or purse, these snack packs are great for biking, hiking, and camping.
MeatCrafters produces all of its own products and does not outsource to co-packers.
