Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. has revealed that meat sales expert, Todd Nogelmeier, will become the company’s Vice President of Foodservice Sales.
Under this role, Nogelmeier will lead and direct the sales activities for the National Accounts Foodservice Sales Team, including sales of beef and pork to both broadline and chain accounts. He has spent the last 10 years as President of Tyson’s Midwest Service Center, overseeing sales in a 16-state region.
“We value Todd’s leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the business and know he’ll do well in his new role,” shared Jerry Holbrook, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tyson Fresh Meats, upon the announcement.
Starting his career at IBP, Inc.’s Dakota City, Nebraska, beef plant while he was attending college, Nogelmeier joined IBP full time as a quality-control supervisor after graduation. IBP was acquired by Tyson Foods in 2001. According to a press release, Nogelmeier has 27 years of experience in sales and boxed beef pricing.
Nogelmeier earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, Beef Production, from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.
