All natural and non-GMO protein provider True Story Foods is taking home more than just fond memories from its turn at this year’s Natural Products Expo East. The company brought home a prestigious NEXTY Award for Best New Organic Food from the Baltimore, Maryland-based trade show, this time winning for True Story’s new Organic Thick Cut Oven Roasted Chicken Breast.
“We are honored and delighted by this award,” said Phil Gatto, Co-Founder. “We love making delicious healthy foods and are so proud to be recognized with this prestigious award at Expo East. We are excited to share this exciting news with our fans and customers. “
According to a press release, the slow-roasted, thick cut slices of sustainably farmed chicken that make up the company’s Organic Thick Cut Oven Roasted Chicken Breast makes for an easy, delicious meal or snack. Created as a healthy solution for busy families trying to find quick meals without sacrificing taste, the award-winning product comes at a suggested retail price of $6.99.
“True Story is raising the bar in the meat industry by returning to a more traditional model,” added Gatto. “The best way to make food is the way it was done generations ago, starting with the best ingredients and taking care in each step to protect the land and animals.”
Natural Products Expo East’s NEXTY Award was designed to recognize the most progressive, innovative, inspiring, and trustworthy products in the natural products industry, the company says. In order to take home a win, each product must make it through New Hope Media editor’s selection process, narrowing each field down to just a few finalists in each of 21 categories. Then, a panel of industry experts meet to judge and choose the winners.
All True Story Foods are available now in select natural and traditional grocery retailers, as well as Costco. To learn more about the company’s entire product line, visit truestoryfoods.com.
