Veroni Expands Product Line, U.S. Distribution

Family-owned cured meat maker Veroni has announced plans to bring its authentic Italian products to a larger audience; the company is expanding its distribution throughout the United States, adding new products to its lineup, and boosting its sales by doing so.

"When we opened our headquarters in Logan, New Jersey, in 2015, we had a very clear goal: to offer the American market not only a quality product made from a recipe, but a 100 percent authentic Italian product," said Antonio Corsano, CEO of Veroni Inc USA, in a press release. "Undertaking this effort was a risk for a family-owned company like ours, but so far our loyal consumers and distributors are proving us right: in just the first quarter of 2018 our sales increased by 25 percent over the same period of 2017.”

According to the company’s press release, Veroni is one of a handful of producers whose high standards for quality, safety, and purity enable it to sell authentically Italian cured meat imported from Italy for sale in the United States. Whereas most meats sold as Italian cured meats in the U.S. are produced domestically using Italian-style recipes, Veroni’s products are imported directly from Italy.

Curing Veroni Mortadella

Veroni’s line of some 40 distinct products—including mortadella, dry-cured ham, cooked ham, salami, coppe and pancetta, speck, and bresaola—is now available to supermarkets and other grocers nationwide.
