Natural Grocers, a Colorado-based retailer that provides natural and organic foods, is opening its 100th store in a new market.
On August 11, Natural Grocers will open its milestone store in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is one of eighteen Natural Grocers stores expected to open in fiscal year 2015, according to a press release.
The new store will take up a 27,826 square foot space at the Scottsdale Town Center, according to AZCentral. The company plans to feature a number of grand opening celebrations, including food tastings, cooking demonstrations, and nutrition classes with nutrition experts, the company announced in a press release. The family-run grocery chain operates stores across seventeen states, including Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, AZCentral reports.
The company was founded in 1955 with the premise that “consumers should have access to affordable, high-quality foods and dietary supplements, along with nutrition knowledge to help support their own health.”
