At the Winter Fancy Food Show, there is no shortage of new and innovative products, so many that it’s difficult to stand out from the pack. However, when it comes to cheese innovation, Norseland, Inc. ain’t playing around. I spoke with President and CEO John Sullivan, who told me all about the company’s bold new product that’s turning heads on social media and resonating with trendy dieters.
“Our new cheese product, called Cheese Folios, has been appointed as a core ingredient into the new Keto diet as a carb-less alternative to healthy wraps,” John said. “The trending opportunity that we’ve seen on Twitter has really gone crazy for us and the excitement around this product has been absolutely fantastic.”
The Cheese Folio is essentially a tortilla made of cheese, all of the convenience of a base for wraps, but with less of the carbs. The cheese rounds can also be crisped up in the oven to form bowls, chips, and crumbles for salads.
“We are really, really excited to be offering this new opportunity to the marketplace and those that are looking to have a more healthier lifestyle as it relates to indoctrinating cheese in an alternative method into your diet,” John commented.
