It’s official! OLLI Salumeria has opened its new Oceanside, California facility, and we sent our team to check it out first hand.
Currently clocking in at 80,000 square feet with room to expand, this facility not only helps OLLI to increase its capacity for its current products but will allow the company to venture into never-before-entered territory.
“The expansion allows us to continue to grow our line,” Jennifer Johnson, OLLI’s Director of Marketing tells me. “We still have all of our awesome antibiotic free and organic salami lines, but the Oceanside facility will allow us to enter into new and exciting markets as well.”
Two new markets OLLI has been able to test have been new deli-sized salami and new pre-sliced salami for the ready-to-eat section of the deli, Jennifer says. These new capabilities will help the company penetrate new areas of the deli counter, including both large-scale delis and the growing grab-and-go segment.
The company is still operating its original facility in Virginia, but says the possibilities for new growth in Oceanside are limitless.
