Backed by three years of research with c-store consumers, Johnsonville’s new breakfast sandwiches deliver flavors core-on-the-go consumers know and love, as well as appeal to millennial and generation Z consumers hungry for premium grab-and-go foods. These sandwiches combine proteins, like full-flavored Johnsonville sausages, real eggs, and cheeses, with unexpected on-trend bread carriers and roasted vegetable combinations and are available in a variety of popular flavors and formats like patties and split links.
There is an uptick in the demand for grab-and-go breakfast foods. According to Datassential's 2016 C-Store Keynote, convenience store breakfast sales have grown by 40% since 2012. Johnsonville's new pre-packaged, individually wrapped Premium Breakfast Sandwich Collection includes:
Johnsonville's new Premium Breakfast Sandwiches' packaging provides c-store operators several different display and selling options, which include offering sandwiches hot and ready in Johnsonville branded warmers, pass-through warmers, or in their refrigerated cooler case. These sandwiches also give operators merchandizing flexibility in selling them as part of a combo meal with beverages or a snack.
Like all Johnsonville products, the Premium Breakfast Sandwiches are made with the operator's convenience in mind, frozen for storage convenience, and available 12 sandwiches to a case.
