AMA Atlanta will recognize Jo Ann Herold for her exceptional marketing and community efforts in the Metro Atlanta area at the 61st AMY Awards. The awards will be March 8, 2018 in the Stave Room at American Spirit Works.
The AMY's Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has made significant strides in their career in Atlanta marketing community and Herold, a B2B and B2C marketing expert has led major brands to success.
Herold is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for The Honey Baked Ham Co. and previously held executive positions for Arby’s Restaurant Group and Interface, Inc. resulting in increased performance and sales. She also has owned her own marketing firm.
Herold, the Past President of the AMA Atlanta chapter, has a great community presence in Atlanta and serves on the marketing advisory board for 48in48 event and High Road Ice Cream. She is also the Executive in Residence for Georgia State University’s Mentorship program as well on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. She has received numerous accolades for her work such as National Diversity Council’s Most Powerful and Influential Women, the prestigious Best Neighbor Award from the National Restaurant Association, two AMY Awards from the American Marketing Association, a Phoenix Award for community volunteerism and an Effie for advertising effectiveness.
