The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) invites all member company employees, age 40 and under, to join its Young Professionals group on Friday, October 19, for a tour of the Chr. Hansen culture facility in Milwaukee, followed by a networking event. Registration is open now on WisCheeseMakers.org.
“WCMA’s Young Professionals group aims to deliver opportunities for professional development and education, as well as new connections between dairy processors and suppliers,” said John Umhoefer, WCMA Executive Director.
The WCMA Young Professionals October 19 event begins at 10 a.m., with an educational tour of Chr. Hansen’s Milwaukee facilities. The group will then gather at AXE MKE to enjoy a networking lunch and try their hand at the latest craze—axe throwing—from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Registration, which includes both the meal and activity, costs just $40 per person.
