A meatless burger can easily change your life. I recently had one that was so good my desire for the real thing went right out the window! Regardless of your meat-eating preferences, there’s no denying that plant-based meats are on the rise. So, it makes sense for Aldi to get in on the action.
The retailer’s UK division recently upped its meatless game, introducing a new product line through its vegetarian meat brand Mae’s Kitchen. The four new products include meat-free sausage rolls, No Chicken Burgers, Vegan No Beef Burgers, and Superfood Burgers.
“The launch of our new vegan range is in response to our growing, ethically-inspired customer base, looking for delicious alternatives to meat and another example of our ongoing commitment to cater for all diets, at everyday low prices,” said Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying, in a statement. “We look forward to expanding our vegan offering even further over the coming months.”
According to a report from LIVEKINDLY, the retailer maintains that its new burgers are “everything you would expect from a burger…thick, flavorsome, and juicy.” Sounds like a winning combination to me!
