Beyond Meat® Expands Its U.S. Distribution With Multiple National and Regional Retailers

Demonstrating the growth in demand across the plant-based sector, Beyond Meat® announced that it will be expanding its existing national distribution footprint with several major retailers. This increase in distribution will increase the plant-based maven’s reach to approximately 28,000 retail outlets across the U.S., thereby strengthening its consumer base.

In tandem, we’ve been able to work with major retailers across the country to expand our in-store presence to offer more Beyond Meat products in more stores to advance our unwavering commitment toward making plant-based meat options that are better for people and the planet more accessible to all,” said Chuck Muth, Chief Growth Officer.

The new retail expansion will have several of Beyond Meat's popular products making their way to new locations as well as growing the number of stores within a chain offering the products, according to a press release.

Beyond Meat® recently announced it will be bolstering its existing national distribution footprint with the addition of several major retailers, expanding its reach to approximately 28,000 retail outlets across the U.S.

This expansion includes:

  • Beyond Meatballs™: Newly available at Kroger (approximately 1,500 stores), Target (750 stores), and Giant Foods (163 stores)
  • Beyond Breakfast Sausage® Links: Newly available at Kroger (approximately 1,500 stores)
  • Cookout Classic™: Expanding throughout April and May to more than 3,000 existing Beyond Meat retail partner stores nationwide including Wegmans, Albertsons/Safeway (Mid-Atlantic, NorCal, Phoenix, and Portland), FreshDirect.com, Jewel, Sprouts, Stew Leonard’s, and Stop & Shop
  • Beyond Sausage: Newly available at Super Target (200+ stores) in May

This new move is part of Beyond Meat’s efforts to meet the growing consumer demand for sustainable, plant-based meat. The company also makes its products with clean ingredients while not compromising on flavor, so as to offer shoppers a high-quality substitute for meat as more people are switching to vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian diets.
