Plant-based products are skyrocketing in popularity, and Beyond Meat® is helping to lead the charge as it introduces innovative new products. The brand's latest release comes in the form of Beyond MeatballsTM and are getting ready to hit grocery stores nationwide. To celebrate the launch of the pre-seasoned, plant-based, Italian meatballs, Beyond Meat is hosting an exclusive Beyond Meatball pop-up shop on September 16 in Los Angeles and New York.

The meatballs boast 19g of plant-based protein and 30 percent less saturated fat and sodium than other meatballs, according to a press release. Beyond Meatballs also are non-GMO, soy and gluten free, and offer up no cholesterol, making them a healthy and delicious choice for all consumers.

Beyond Meatballs will launch later this week, and will be available across Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, Sprouts, Harris Teeter, Kroger, and Albertsons nationwide by early October. The meatballs come in a pack of 12 and have a suggested retail price of $6.99.

This is the third new retail product launch for Beyond Meat in 2020. Earlier this year, the company unveiled its Beyond Breakfast Sausage® and Cookout Classic. The brand now spans 26,000 outlets across the U.S. and continues to add to its growing portfolio. According to recent SPINS data for the latest 4-week period ending August 9, 2020, Beyond Meat was one of the top selling brands in refrigerated plant-based meat.

To celebrate the launch, Beyond is having an exclusive one-day-only Beyond Meatball Shop pop-up in Los Angeles and New York on Wednesday, September 16. Those who attend will receive either one free Beyond Meatball Hero or a plate of spaghetti topped with the delicious new product. Those who want to attend can reserve their meal and pick-up time via The Beyond Meatball Shop’s LA and NY pages on Resy while supplies last.
