More than 20 California artisan cheesemakers will showcase their acclaimed cheeses, along with special guests from Washington and Utah, at the 9th Annual SF Cheese Fest. At the gastronomic event, attendants can enjoy live music, and sip local wines and beers while they taste dozens of cheeses, cured meats, jams, chocolate, and more bites. SF Cheese Fest is presented by the California Artisan Cheese Guild.
“SF Cheese Fest celebrates our diverse cheese community and the bonds between rural cheesemakers, urban cheesemongers, and passionate consumers across the state,” says Sarah Simms, President of the California Artisan Cheese Guild and Co-Founder of Lady & Larder. “Guests will be able to taste over 75 different varieties of cheese and meet the makers and mongers. It’s going to be a wonderfully festive evening of community and cheese!”
This year’s event has a new VIP Early Entry Cheese Lover’s Paradise offering, including a personal cheese sommelier taking guests on a curated tour featuring three distinguished cheesemakers. After the tour, guests will have time to mingle, and beat the crowds to the bar for libations. A press release went on to mention that space is limited.
