Retailers are making room in the dairy case for two enticing new products as Dairygold has debuted its first-ever branded cheese in the United States, Pastureland. The new line of Irish cheddar cheeses will be introduced to the market, beginning with its Extra Sharp Irish Cheddar and Aged Creamy Irish Cheddar, and distributed in the U.S. by world-renowned cheese supplier Norseland.

The two classic flavors of Pastureland will be available on U.S. shelves in 7 oz portions with a suggested retail price of $6.99 per unit and 12 units packed per case, according to a press release. The Aged Creamy Irish Cheddar is smooth and full-flavored, with satisfying, subtle hints of caramel sweetness and nutty tones. As for the Extra Sharp Irish Cheddar, the product is hand-selected for a bold, rich, and tangy flavor with the perfect hint of sweetness.

Pastureland’s unique cheeses are produced by grass-fed cows, certified by Bord Bia, which ensures that all the company’s cheese are manufactured entirely by Irish dairy herds whose diet contains at least 95 percent grass. Each of the cheeses are carefully selected by the company’s top artisanal cheesemakers and aged for a minimum of 12 months to achieve the mouthwatering flavors.
