FrieslandCampina Debuts Brand Extensions at IDDBA and Summer Fancy Food Show; Debbie Seife Comments

Excitement is buzzing in the air across the deli industry as highly anticipated events like the IDDBA show and Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS) arrive. In anticipation of these events, FrieslandCampina has announced it will be debuting two new brand extensions for its Royal Hollandia and Gayo Azul cheese brands, which the cheesemaker will be showcasing at both IDDBA and SFFS along with its other popular brands.

The recently unveiled Royal Hollandia Entry Packs are creating a new size of cheese for the deli, a press release stated. This will enable consumers to try cheese in smaller sizes for lower price points. The Entry Packs are available in six varieties: Mild Gouda, Creamy Swiss, Smoke Flavored Gouda, Chili Pepper, Mediterranean Herb, and Parrano Originale, and are portioned in 3.5–4 oz exact weight pieces.

All Entry Pack products ship in shelf-ready packaging that is easy for retailers to stock and shoppers to add to their baskets. They also feature pairing suggestions and a flavor profile scale to educate and inspire consumers as they make their foray into the specialty cheese category or sample a new cheese variety.

Adding to its brand extensions, FrieslandCampina has also launched its new Gayo Azul Cotija to satisfy fans of cheese and Hispanic dishes. Featuring a sharp, salty flavor and crumbly texture, the Mexican-style aged, fresh cow’s milk cheese is perfect for enhancing dishes such as street corn, enchiladas, tacos, and more.
