Gear up, industry friends. Word has hit the newswire regarding an exciting new foodservice venture by Giant Food. The grocer has teamed up with Nalley Fresh in a move to open its first in-store fast-casual restaurant, located in Ellicott City, Maryland.
"We are thrilled to bring Nalley Fresh to our Ellicott City store and provide our customers with an unbeatable one-stop shopping experience," said Gregg Dorazio, Director of E-Commerce at Giant Food. "We know our customers will enjoy the convenient, healthy and delicious meal offerings, and we're proud to welcome this local concept right in-store at Giant."
The new fast-casual restaurant opened its doors on March 24, providing shoppers with a wide selection of customizable, healthy, and fresh meal options.
Nalley Fresh is a chef-driven concept that makes everything fresh daily and features a wide selection of customizable salads, wraps, and bowls, a release explained. With the new in-store restaurant counter, consumers can create personalized meals from house-made specialty proteins and over 100 different toppings. Further meeting consumer demand, Nalley Fresh has a wide variety of options, including vegan and vegetarian proteins, international flavors, and more. They can also choose one of the restaurant's signature dishes designed by the company's founder.
Giant Food's partnership with Nalley Fresh marks the restaurant chain's 10th location. The new location will also be able to fulfill third-party delivery orders for added convenience.
