Good Foods already has a ton of expertise in the better-for-you dips and guacamole space, and believe me when I say that expertise is ever-growing. Tapping into the knowledge and skill set of a distinguished food industry veteran, the dip maker has appointed Eric Munoz as its first Chief Human Resources Officer.
“I’m excited to join Good Foods and to lead such a talented group of people,” said Munoz. “Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the positive impact the food industry can have, and can’t wait to serve our community, customers, and—most importantly—our employees in my new role.”
In his newly created role, Munoz will oversee all functions of human resources, talent, and organizational capabilities for the company as part of the executive leadership team. According to a press release, he will work to develop and execute new HR strategies to support the company’s mission, values, and goals; support the continued domestic and international growth of Good Foods into new markets; ensure that corporate values are lived by all team members and exemplified by management; and foster company culture as a pillar of overall company growth and strategy.
“Good Foods starts with good people, and Eric’s expertise and passion will inspire our team to continue our mission to make healthy, flavorful food accessible to all,” said Good Foods Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kurt Penn. “With decades of food industry and leadership experience, Eric will also be an integral member of our executive team as we continue to grow and evolve as a brand.”
Munoz brings over 25 years of HR experience, holding key leadership positions at reputable food companies like Kraft Foods, Mondelēz International, and Kellogg.
The leader also speaks several languages—including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French—and has a unique background in talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and change management.
Congratulations to Eric Munoz on his newest role!
