Kroger Expands Delivery Service to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; Gabriel Arreaga and Luke Jensen Comment


PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI

Kroger continues to expand its reach as news has surfaced on a new facility in America’s Dairyland. The retailer revealed it has opened a new customer fulfillment center (CFC) in the village of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, in partnership with Ocado Solutions.

Our tradition of fresh is all about our customers, and this true milestone moment incorporates end-to-end cold solutions, including customized refrigerated vans, providing Kenosha County residents with everything fresh, every time,” said Gabriel Arreaga, Kroger’s Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer. “Through the incredible relationships with several local departments including Kenosha County and Village of Pleasant Prairie, this collaboration was key to success that will bring nearly 250 jobs to the 336,840-square-foot high-tech fulfillment center and will enable us to expand our delivery services to new areas in the region in need of our best-in-class service.”

This recent expansion comes after the retailer also opened up a separate CFC in Colorado and a spoke location in South Florida, showing the grocer’s intent on building out its delivery network.

In partnership with Ocado Solutions, Kroger has announced the opening of a new customer fulfillment center in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

According to a company release, the new facility leverages Ocado’s advanced robotics technology and creative solutions to redefine the customer experience for customers in Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana.
