After the World Championship Cheese Contest ended last week, news of the winners has poured in. LaClare Creamery reported that it took home two gold medals at the event, one for its Original Goat Cheese and the other for its Maple Bourbon Goat Cheese.

According to a press release, LaClare’s Original Goat Cheese placed Best of Class in the Soft Goat’s Milk Cheese category with a score of 99.3. The Maple Bourbon received a score of 98.6 in the Soft Goat’s Milk Cheeses Flavored with Sweet Condiments category.
