Grab and Go Salad Kit or Asian Style Chicken Lettuce Wrap Kit? How about both?! Local Bounti has been tactically bolstering its presence in the value-added sector, and the supplier is accelerating its growth in the deli space with a trip to this year’s International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA) trade show. Attendees of the event will get a closer look at some of the newest additions to the company’s ever-growing portfolio.
“We are excited to showcase several of our new value add offerings including our Heat and Eat Asian Style Chicken Lettuce Wraps as well as our Grab and Go Salad Kits,” explained Aaron Sumption, Senior Vice President of Sales. “These items are new to the marketplace, and both product lines fill a void. Our consumer research shows that shoppers are looking for healthy convenience whether on the go or at home, and each of these new product lines delivers on this consumer need.”
As we recently reported, the Asian Style Chicken Lettuce Wrap Kit is a chef-inspired meal solution that can be prepared at home in roughly five minutes. This newest addition to the Local Bounti lineup features premium ingredients such as the supplier’s sustainably grown living butter lettuce, all-white meat chicken, and high-quality veggies, giving consumers a meal option that delivers on convenience without sacrificing freshness.
Also flexing Local Bounti’s value-added prowess is its restaurant-quality Grab and Go Salad Kit. Offered in the Poppy Power and Modern Greek varieties, these convenient salads focus on popular flavor profiles to meet the needs of the increasing number of flexitarian consumers.
“By exhibiting at IDDBA, we have the opportunity to interface with industry leaders and develop relationships with key decision-makers at retail grocery outlets across the country,” Aaron adds. “While our company has vast retail contacts, we are new to the deli space. This show will offer networking opportunities and provide the feedback needed to help us shape our strategy in the deli category.”
Attendees of the show will also get a moment to talk about the supplier’s continuous growth, as Local Bounti is actively building new indoor growing facilities in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Pasco, Washington, allowing the company to locally grow the key components that these new value-added product lines feature.
Innovations, expansions, and more! It will all be waiting for you at booth #1995 at this year’s IDDBA show.
