I don’t know about you, but to me beef jerky is an essential snack on any road trip, and making it easier for consumers such as myself to find on shelves, Old Trapper announced it has updated its beef stick packaging. The company also revealed that its 15 oz snackable beef sticks will be available in the innovative new packaging format.

Robert Leary, Director of Marketing, Old Trapper“As leaders in the meat snack category, we are always looking for new and exciting formats to present our products,” said Robert Leary, Director of Marketing. “Just as we pioneered clear packaging to show consumers the product quality and quantity that they are receiving in each bag, we are now introducing new display options and a perfectly snackable reformatted stick size to provide a product that is versatile on the shelf and visually appealing to consumers. People everywhere who love our jerky are part of the Old Trapper family, and we are committed to evolving continually to meet their needs.”

Old Trapper’s state-of-the-art packaging update comes as a direct response to company research into ways to maximize retail opportunities, according to a press release. The gusseted bag provides retail partners with the ability to hang the brand’s products on pegs or also display them on shelves.
