Rebellyous Foods entered the market with a lofty goal in mind: to develop its plant-based meat manufacturing system, the Mock Two, to create nuggets, patties, and tenders that are good for the planet.
“Our next-generation continuous production system means a reduction in energy costs and material waste, which translates into a product that will soon be competitively priced with traditional chicken,” remarked Kristie Middleton, Vice President of Business Development. “Because of our manufacturing innovation, Rebellyous’ delicious plant-based chicken provides all the same juiciness and rich flavor as traditional chicken, with all the benefits of 100 percent plant-based ingredients.”
A press release noted that consumer appetite for plant-based foods continues to grow, and retailers are working hard to keep up with demand. Rebellyous is seeing success from coast to coast; its latest expansion can be found in New Seasons’ hot bars.
“We are working with some of the biggest school districts in the nation, such as Los Angeles Unified and Austin Independent, alongside expanding to ballparks. We have our sights set on continued expansion in higher education, event venues, arenas, hospitals, and more,” added Middleton.
