Stampede Meat is on the road to growth and isn’t turning around any time soon. After recently partnering with DL Lee, the meat name has announced a 10-million-pound oven expansion at its DL Lee & Sons facility in Georgia. This latest expansion will help the brand up its standing as a leader in high-quality sous vide meat, meat substitutes, sides, and soup production, and sets the company up for further development.

Brock Furlong, President and Chief Executive Officer, Stampede Meat“Stampede is both proud and humbled by the role we play in our customers' success,” said Brock Furlong, President and Chief Executive Officer. “This expansion will enable my Stampede family to better assist our customers as they work to provide more efficient and effective product solutions for their customers.”

This expansion is expected to be completed this month, a release stated, and the company anticipates additional sous vide growth for its Canadian facility.

Due to its ability to provide consistency, tenderness, and increased food safety, the demand for sous vide meat has continued to increase. As a top producer of sous vide products, Stampede takes pride in implementing rigorous safety measures to ensure the protection of its customers, and this will remain a major focus as the company continues to expand. With upcoming growth, Stampede will be able to meet current and new customer opportunities as demand rises.

The provider also recognizes the increased demand for sous vide going forward due to the labor challenges the foodservice industry is facing nationwide. Purchasing sous vide products from Stampede allows its customers to succeed, even in the face of decreased on-site labor and increased turnover rates.
