Markets is upping its own technological prowess, teaming up with the NCR Commerce Platform (NCP) for an exciting rollout.

Tapping into the NCP, Stater Bros. has optimized NCR Emerald, which is a cloud-based, point-of-sale (POS) solution that utilizes the platform to unify all technology needed to run the store. As explained in a press release, NCR Emerald allows Stater Bros. to roll out capabilities to its POS lanes with ease, speed, and flexibility, empowering the company to easily deploy more options for its consumers.
With an open platform approach, NCR seeks to help retailers run their stores and generate meaningful customer experiences by simplifying the process and helping its retail partners adapt to the evolving digital world and changing consumer behaviors. Allowing easy integration, Stater. Bros. was able to successfully deploy all-new software and lane hardware across its 171-store footprint in just 15 weeks.
