Taking on the guise of a grocer, Sysco Canada recently revealed a new program [email protected], which introduces a convenient grocery solution for consumers looking to purchase restaurant-quality items from their homes.
"With [email protected], consumers can purchase high-quality grocery items—providing both a convenient source for grocery staples that may currently be hard to find and a great opportunity to elevate your at-home food experience. As a part of our Foodies Unite initiative, Sysco Canada will also donate 15 meals for every [email protected] grocery order to hunger relief organizations through May 4, 2020," said Randy White, President of Sysco Canada.
[email protected]OME allows shoppers to #shoplikeafoodie. Pantry staples, custom-cut meats, poultry, and more can be browsed with a few clicks of the mouse—or presses of the thumb. The orders will then be delivered right to shoppers’ car trunks after they’ve selected their delivery times.
The service, a press release noted, is one way Sysco is ensuring that it continues to meet the demand for groceries—as retail grocery shopping has increased 38 percent.
