The upcoming holiday and spring seasons are a prime retail buying time, and United Natural Foods, Inc. is making it easier for operators to get ahead. Hosting its annual UNFI Conventional Expo show, UNFI brought nearly 2,700 customers to help independent grocers plan, prepare, and buy for this critical time period.

According to a press release, UNFI held its annual event to help its members connect with the company’s vast network of suppliers, providing them with the industry’s greatest access to food choices, fresh thinking, innovations, services, show deals, and promotions—all of which were only available at the show.

As one of the largest grocery industry events, noted the release, the Conventional Expo is also one of five trade shows hosted annually by UNFI.

To top it off, UNFI introduced its 2022 Master Marketer Award winners as part of an annual program recognizing and celebrating independent retailers for their achievements in merchandising, marketing, media advertising, and community relations programs.
