US Foods Unveils 24 New Fall Products to Address Operator Challenges; Stacey Kinkaid Shares

Foodservice operators looking to get a leg up on menu creation this fall need look no further. US Foods recently unveiled its Fall 2024 Scoop, which features 24 new products aimed at addressing key challenges faced by those in foodservice.

According to a press release, this launch is designed to enhance menu variety while reducing operational costs for retailers.

The Fall 2024 Scoop includes items designed to tackle rising labor and food costs while attracting new customers. The range of products is versatile, catering to various restaurant types from bar and grill to casual dining concepts. Notably, 10 of the products belong to the “Serve You” portfolio, which features plant-forward, gluten-free, and clean ingredient options.

As the release went on to note, this new lineup includes innovative items such as Chef’s Line® All-Natural 2 Cuban-Inspired Ropa Vieja, which offers significant labor savings with its sous-vide cooking method. Similarly, the Chef’s Line All Natural 2 Smoked Pork Butt provides a cost-efficient, fully cooked barbeque solution without the need for a smoker.

Also highlighted are the Chef’s Line Battered Ricotta and Mascarpone Filled Zucchini Blossoms, Cross Valley Farms® Hibiscus Infused Fruit Blend, and del Pasado® Shredded Mexican-Style Three Cheese Blend, all designed to streamline preparation and enhance menu offerings.

According to a press release, the Devonshire® Cookie Butter Banana Pie is expected to appeal to modern tastes, saving operators significant preparation time. This assortment of products showcases US Foods’ commitment to addressing industry challenges while meeting evolving consumer preferences.
