Utz Brands Hits 356.2M Net Sales for Second Quarter 2024; Howard Friedman Shares

Utz Brands’ second quarter ended on June 30, 2024, and we recently received the company’s financial report. We were pleased to learn that Utz has reached net sales of $356.2 million for the quarter.

In addition, we delivered our sixth consecutive quarter of year-over-year Adjusted EBITDA Margin expansion, driven by strong Adjusted Gross Profit Margin growth, and we increased Adjusted Earnings per Share by 46 percent," said Howard Friedman, Chief Executive Officer.

  • Organic net sales increased 1.6 percent
  • Gross profit margin expansion of 260bps
  • Net Income of $25.4 million
  • Adjusted EBITDA increased 10.0 percent to $49.7 million

Utz Brands has reached net sales of $356.2 million for the second quarter"We made necessary adjustments to our promotional activities during the quarter to address consumer value expectations," Friedman continued. "Our accelerated productivity cost savings provide us the flexibility to both continue to expand our margins and increase investments behind our brands to support our geographic expansion. We expect our growth opportunities will drive strong volume growth in the second half of the year."
