According to the press release, the high-quality cream comes from Websterville, Vermont, family farms. The new 82 percent butterfat cultured butter is made by carefully adding live bacterial cultures to fresh Vermont Cream. Wonderful notes of buttermilk and hazelnuts develop after it's fermented overnight, thickening to a rich, creamy texture.

Vermont Creamery’s new Cultured Butter is now on shelves for $3.99 SRP and available in half-pound or two-stick packs in Sea Salt and Unsalted varieties. Living to its consciously-crafted motto, the butter is packaged in 100 percent recycled cartons.
