Competition is fierce in the retail sector as companies continue to innovate and grow. Wakefern Food Corp. is going the distance to keep shopper loyalty as it opens a new state-of-the-art, full-service grocery store under its ShopRite banner. The supermarket is located in Moosinc, Pennsylvania, and features a bevy of features and highlights that will make grocery shopping a breeze.
“We’re excited to open our doors to this new state-of-the-art ShopRite—and just in time for the holidays,” said Bill Bracey, President of Bracey’s Inc., which owns and operates the new store. “Our family-owned company includes three generations of grocers, and we look forward to serving the community with ShopRite variety, value, and amenities for years to come.”
Located at 3382 Birney Ave., the new location is an expansive 75,000 square feet and will add approximately 150 new jobs to the local economy, according to a press release.
The new ShopRite location will feature traditional favorites like Deli, Fresh Baked, and Prepared Foods sections along with several others that feature a wide selection of products. Additionally, a registered dietitian will be available to provide shoppers free health and wellness services.
Wakefern’s new banner store will offer the ShopRite from Home online shopping service along with in-store, curbside pick-up, and home delivery for all consumer shopping needs.
In order to reduce its eco-footprint, the new location features energy-efficient refrigeration and lighting. The location has also partnered with several area organizations to combat hunger and food waste as well.
Deli Market News will stay on the retailer’s trail and report on the latest developments to come.
