As a company’s market presence and branding continues to play an integral role in its success, Wakefern Food Corp. has made a pivotal new move as it has tapped Huge Brooklyn as its Digital Brand Agency of Record. The recent partnership comes as the retailer sets its sights on a reimagined end-to-end digital experience that includes its website, mobile, social, and in-store digital platforms in order to increase its market penetration and capture the attention of shoppers everywhere.
“We have a simple mission—meet our customers where they are by providing all the ways in which they want to shop and connect with ShopRite as a brand through our digital platforms, whether in-store or out of store. Our partnership with Huge is one more way we're improving the entire shopping experience by making it more intuitive and fun. We look forward to how this comes to life in the coming months ahead,” said Laura Kind, Wakefern’s Vice President of Brand Strategy.
Wakefern is made up of nearly 50 member families who independently own and operate 362 supermarkets under the ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Dearborn Market, Gourmet Garage, and Fairway Market banners. With such an expansive footprint, it is paramount that the company remains cognizant of the way its brands communicate with consumers.
According to a press release, the first project spearheaded by Huge Brooklyn is slated to kick off in quarter four of 2021.
“We are proud to partner with Wakefern on their journey to deliver a highly personal and immersive digital commerce experience,” Matt Weiss, President of Huge Brooklyn, said. “Since 1946, Wakefern has served the needs of everyday consumers by delivering the groceries and essentials that families need at competitive and affordable prices. Today, more than ever, this is a noble and important mission to nurture and sustain healthy communities. We welcome them to our home and neighborhood.”
